सह्याद्री वाहिनेवरून `क- कायद्याचा’ मालिका आजपासून सुरु!

कायदेतज्ञ, जेष्ठ सामाजिक नेत्या ॲड. निर्मला सामंत-प्रभावळकर करणार मार्गदर्शन!

मुंबई (मोहन सावंत):- भारतीय संविधान, देशातील विविध कायदे, न्यायालयीन निवाडे आणि भारतीयांचे मूलभूत अधिकार ह्या विषयावर कायदेतज्ञ, जेष्ठ सामाजिक नेत्या ॲड. निर्मला सामंत- प्रभावळकर `क- कायद्याचा’ ह्या सह्याद्री वाहिनेवरून प्रसारित होणाऱ्या मालिकेतून मांडणी करणार आहेत. त्या आपल्या सखोल संशोधनातून अगदी सोप्या भाषेत सविस्तर मार्गदर्शन करणार असून त्यामुळे देशातील सामान्य लोकांच्या दैनंदिन जीवनातही सकारात्मक बदल घडतील. ह्या कार्यक्रमाचे सूत्रसंचालन उन्नती जगदाळे करणार आहेत. मालीकेच्या पहिल्या भागाचे प्रसारण सोमवार दि. ४ मे २०२६ रोजी रात्री ९ वाजता व पुन:प्रसारण मंगळवार दि. ५ मे २०२६ रोजी दुपारी ३ वाजता होणार आहे.

ॲड. निर्मला सामंत- प्रभावळकर ह्या मुंबईच्या पहिल्या महिला महापौर झाल्या. मुंबईतील नागरी प्रश्नांवर त्यांनी केलेले कार्य लक्षणीय ठरले. त्यानंतर दादरच्या सिद्धिविनायक मंदिर ट्रस्टच्या अध्यक्षपदी आल्यानंतर त्यांनी तेथील प्रशासनाला गतिमान केले. तर महाराष्ट्राच्या राज्य महिला आयोगाच्या अध्यक्षपदी त्यांनी राज्यातील महिलांच्या समस्यांवर लक्षणीय कार्य केले. राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोगात आणि विविध सामाजिक संस्थांमध्ये काम करताना त्यांनी जेष्ठ नागरिक, महिला, लहान मुले व दुर्लक्षित घटक यांच्या प्रश्नावर विधायक कार्य केले आहे.

सामाजिक न्याय आणि सक्षमीकरण मंत्रालय (भारत सरकार) यांच्या अंतर्गत सामाजिक परिवर्तन अध्ययन केंद्र (CSSC) मुंबई व प्रादेशिक संसाधन आणि प्रशिक्षण केंद्र (RRTC) मुंबईच्या त्या विश्वस्त अध्यक्ष आहेत. ॲड. निर्मला सामंत- प्रभावळकर यांनी कायदा महाविद्यालयात अनेक वर्षे प्राध्यापक म्हणून काम केले असून महाराष्ट्रात त्या नामवंत कायदेतज्ञ म्हणून ओळखल्या जातात. मुंबई उच्च न्यायालयाने न्यायाधीश भारती डांग्रे यांच्या अध्येक्षतेखाली `जेंडर सेंसिटाइजेशन आणि इंटरनल कंप्लेअंट्स कमिटी (GSICC)’ ची पुनर्निर्मिती केली असून त्या कमिटीमध्ये त्या सदस्य म्हणून कार्य करतात. अ‍ॅड. निर्मलाताई सामंत – प्रभावळकर यांनी गेल्या ३५-४० वर्षात केलेले कार्य अतुलनीय आहे. प्रत्येक पदावर त्यांनी आदर्शवत कार्य केले आहे. निरंतरपणे समाजाची निःस्वार्थी व समर्पित भावनेने सेवा करण्याची त्यांची वृत्ती आदर्शवादी आहे. आजही भारतात अग्रस्थानी असलेल्या अनेक सेवाभावी संस्थेत कार्यरत आहेत. सदर संस्थांच्या माध्यमातून समाजातील उपेक्षित घटकांची, निराधारांची, अन्यायग्रस्तांची, गरजूंची सेवा केली जाते. समाजसेवेच्या माध्यमातून आजही त्यांचा लाखो लोकांशी संपर्क होत असतो. त्यामुळे निष्कलंक, सेवाभावी, चिकित्सक आणि ध्येयवादी व्यक्तिमत्व म्हणून अ‍ॅड. निर्मलाताई सामंत – प्रभावळकर यांची ओळख उभ्या महाराष्ट्राला आहे. विशेष म्हणजे त्या सिंधुदुर्गाच्या कन्या आहेत.

अशा थोर आदर्शवादी व्यक्तिमत्वाकडून कायद्याचा अर्थ समजून घेण्यासाठी सह्याद्री वाहिनेवरील `क- कायद्याचा’ ही मालिका उपयुक्त ठरणार आहे.

Legal Expert and Senior Social Leader Adv. Nirmala Samant-Prabhavalkar to Guide Viewers Through New TV Series!

Mumbai (Mohan Sawant): Legal expert and senior social leader Adv. Nirmala Samant-Prabhavalkar will present a new series titled “Ka – Kaydyacha” (The Essence of Law), which will be aired on Sahyadri Channel. Through this series, she will explain topics such as the Indian Constitution, various laws of the country, judicial verdicts, and the fundamental rights of Indian citizens.

Drawing from her in-depth research, she will provide detailed guidance in simple and easy-to-understand language, which is expected to bring positive changes in the daily lives of common citizens. The program will be hosted by Unnati Jagdale. The first episode of the series will be telecast on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 9:00 PM, with a repeat telecast on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 3:00 PM.

Adv. Nirmala Samant-Prabhavalkar made history as Mumbai’s first woman Mayor. Her work on civic issues in Mumbai was widely appreciated. Later, as the Chairperson of the Siddhivinayak Temple Trust in Dadar, she brought significant improvements and efficiency to its administration. As the Chairperson of the Maharashtra State Women’s Commission, she played a remarkable role in addressing women’s issues across the state.

While serving in the National Commission for Women and various social organizations, she has worked extensively for senior citizens, women, children, and other neglected sections of society.

She is also the Trustee Chairperson of the Centre for Social Change Studies (CSSC), Mumbai, and the Regional Resource and Training Centre (RRTC), Mumbai, functioning under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.

Adv. Nirmala Samant-Prabhavalkar has served as a law professor for many years and is recognized as a renowned legal expert in Maharashtra. The Bombay High Court, under the leadership of Justice Bharati Dangre, recently reconstituted the Gender Sensitization and Internal Complaints Committee (GSICC), where she serves as a member.

Over the past 35–40 years, Adv. Nirmalatai Samant-Prabhavalkar’s contributions have been extraordinary. She has set an ideal example in every position she has held. Her selfless dedication to public service continues to inspire many. Even today, she remains actively associated with several leading charitable organizations in India.
