राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस पार्टीच्या महाराष्ट्र प्रदेश प्रवक्तेपदी निष्कलंक, सेवाभावी, चिकित्सक आणि ध्येयवादी व्यक्तिमत्व असणाऱ्या अ‍ॅड. निर्मलाताई सामंत – प्रभावळकर यांची निवड!
मुंबई (मोहन सावंत):- मुंबईच्या माजी महापौर आणि महाराष्ट्र राज्य महिला आयोगाच्या माजी अध्यक्षा. अ‍ॅड. निर्मलाताई सामंत – प्रभावळकर यांची नुकतीच महाराष्ट्र प्रदेश राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस पार्टीच्या प्रवक्त्या म्हणून नियुक्ती करण्यात आली. महाराष्ट्र प्रदेश राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस पार्टीचे अध्यक्ष जयंत पाटील यांनी नियुक्तीचे पत्र अ‍ॅड. निर्मलाताई सामंत – प्रभावळकर यांच्याकडे सुपूर्द केले आहे. यावेळी, सरचिटणीस, रायगड जिल्हा प्रभारी, नवीमुंबई संपर्क प्रमुख श्री. प्रशांत बाळकृष्ण पाटील, पनवेल महिला निरीक्षक भावनाताई घाणेकर व माजी जिल्हाध्यक्ष फेमिदा खान या उपस्थित होत्या. पक्षाचे राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष शरद पवार आणि खासदार सुप्रिया सुळे यांनी अ‍ॅड. निर्मलाताई सामंत – प्रभावळकर यांच्या आजवरच्या कार्याची आणि प्रचंड अनुभवाची दखल घेऊन राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस पार्टीच्या प्रवक्त्या म्हणून नियुक्ती करण्यास मान्यता दिली.
मुंबईच्या माजी महापौर, महाराष्ट्र राज्य महिला आयोगाच्या माजी अध्यक्षा, राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोगाच्या माजी सदस्या आणि श्री सिद्धिविनायक मंदिर न्यासाच्या माजी अध्यक्षा म्हणून अ‍ॅड. निर्मलाताई सामंत – प्रभावळकर यांनी गेल्या ३५-४० वर्षात केलेले कार्य अतुलनीय आहे. प्रत्येक पदावर त्यांनी आदर्शवत कार्य केले आहे. निरंतरपणे समाजाची निःस्वार्थी व समर्पित भावनेने सेवा करण्याची त्यांची वृत्ती आदर्शवादी आहे. आजही भारतात अग्रस्थानी असलेल्या अनेक सेवाभावी संस्थेत कार्यरत आहेत. सदर संस्थांच्या माध्यमातून समाजातील उपेक्षित घटकांची, निराधारांची, अन्यायग्रस्तांची, गरजूंची सेवा केली जाते. समाजसेवेच्या माध्यमातून आजही त्यांचा लाखो लोकांशी संपर्क होत असतो. त्यामुळे निष्कलंक, सेवाभावी, चिकित्सक आणि ध्येयवादी व्यक्तिमत्व म्हणून अ‍ॅड. निर्मलाताई सामंत – प्रभावळकर यांची ओळख उभ्या महाराष्ट्राला आहे. त्याचा लाभ महाराष्ट्र प्रदेश राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस पार्टीला नक्कीच होईल.

Advocate Smt. Nirmala Samat – Prabhavalkar has been appointed as an official spokesperson of the Nationalist Congress Party of, Maharashtra. State.
Mumbai:- Adv Nirmalatai Samant Prabhavalkar the Ex-mayor of Municipal Corporation Greater Mumbai & the Ex- Chairwoman of Maharashtra State Commission for Women has been appointed Chief Spokesperson of the Nationalist Congress Party of Maharashtra State by Nationality Congress Party Maharashtra State President Shri Jayantrao Patil on the recommendation of NCP National President Shri Sharad Pawar & NCP most vocal Parliamentary Smt. Supriya Sule as a true recognition to her outstanding contribution in social services & impeccable image as a Nationalist Congress Party active member.
The work done by Adv. Nirmalatai Samant – Prabhavalkar in the last 35-40 years is exceptional. She has performed exemplary work in every position she held till date. Her perspective of continuously serving the society with a selfless and dedicated spirit is idealistic.
Even today many of the leading charitable organizations are associated or consulted by her actively in India. Through these institutions, she is providing her support to the marginalized sections of the society, the destitute, the victims of injustice and the needy.
